Somebody might attack me for this but I actually like Naomi. I know she’s done bad things (like almost every other character in skins) but I find her complicated character to be relatable. At first I didn’t like her or even care for her but when I got to really see her complex character I started to love her. It’s really nice seeing characters that struggle with their sexuality and internalized homophobia which is a type of self hatred. It really is a hard struggle to deal with and can drive you to do things you don’t mean to someone you love. It can be hard to love somebody else when you can’t love yourself. Also I love how she was able to get through it and eventually commit to the person she loves most. It gives me hope I get through it too. Uh anyways thank you for listening to my Ted talk.
