„There's a graveyard by the station where the girls
Wear vinyl skirts and sandals from Hungary
The boys ride their Riga 1s upon the little hills
Such sadness and grief, the kids die standing
That's where we made our tryst and struggled with our guns
Would you still love me if the clocks could go backwards?
The girls would fill with blood, and the grass will be green again
Remember the dead, they were so great, some of them”
How Does The Grass Grow? by David Bowie, 2013

z przedostatniego albumu jaki kiedykolwiek wydał
i love Bowie ;((

„ Could've held on to that long smooth neck
Let your hand remember every fret
Fingers touching each shiny string
But you let go of everything
(…)
Blood spilled out from the hole in your heart
Over the strings of your guitar
The worn down places in the wood
That once made you feel so good
(…)
Why'd you let go of your guitar
Why'd you ever let it go that far„
Drunken Angel by Lucinda Williams, 1998

z albumu „car wheels on a gravel road”… z lat 90-tych?? – moja najmniej lubiana dekada muzyczna?? jak taka dobra muzyka znalazła się wśród hiphopu, rapu i złego disco?

anyhow,
jeżeli chcecie posłuchać to piosenki brzmią jak 2000s sad girl bedroom indie z duuuużą inspiracją folku lat 60tych(nie wiem czemu ale przyszła mi do głowy Joni Mitchell) i świetną liryką

Jeżeli lubicie „Fade Into You” od Mazzy Star to „Right in time” z tego albumu ma podobny vibe??

@user.unknown oficjalnie uznaję tą piosenkę za jedną z moich ulubionych… a muszę przyznać że ani nie podoba mi się głos Luciny, ani styl piosenki, ani nawet całościowo utwór ale tekst tak zapadł mi w pamięć – just fire, vibes all the way, znam każde słowo

kolejny lyrics, żebyście zrozumieli powagę sytuacji:
„Followers would cling to you
Hang around just to meet you
Some threw roses at your feet
And watch you pass out on the street
Drunken Angel
Feed you and pay off all your debts
Kiss your brow, taste your sweat
Write about your soul, your guts
Criticize you and wish you luck”

that’s some craaazzyyy writing

„Some say the view is crazy
But you may adopt another point of view
So if it's much too hazy
You can leave my friend and me with fond adieu”

„And I'm down so bad
I'm doing time
You look like a weeping saint with your infected eye
I'm doing time
And I’m down so bad
Hope my television appearance drives you fu€king mad”
This is the Killer Speaking by The Last Dinner Party, 2025

(the best song bridge that ever brigded)

TY, TAK, TY. posłuchaj tego NATYCHMIAST. tylko tego fragmentu chociaż. TERAZ.
i powiedz mi czy też uważasz że „television” jest wymówione tak źle że brzmi cudownie. (dosłownie mogłabym na okrągło słuchać tej linijki – Hope my television appearance drives you fu€king mad)

1. intro na pianinie do „Catch Me Now I’m Falling” by The Kinks (one of my favourite bands!) czyli pierwsze 20 sekund jest najprzyjemniejszą rzeczą która spotkała mnie w tym tygodniu (likeee, gdzie mogę dostać nuty do tego??)
2. „Rock Lobster” by The B-52’s jest idealnym przykładem muzyki lat 80, soooo funky, disco -like vibe. i mówię tu o melodii(chociaż tekst jest sooo messy, im here for it) just aahhhhh
